FOOD TRUCK APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in The Kind Fest!  Please note the following details for Food Truck participation, download a copy of the contract terms & conditions for your records and complete the application below to apply.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

FESTIVAL DATE & TIME:  Saturday August 12, 2017, 9:00 am-6:00 pm

LOCATION:  Willis Tucker Park, 6705 Puget Park Drive, Snohomish WA

FEES:  Food Truck Vendors charges are as follows and due before July 10, 2017:

$25 Park and Rec Fee (Mandatory) plus

$25 Kind Fest Vendor Fee (Mandatory) plus

$50 Generator Fee (if needed)

PLACEMENT: Food Trucks may be placed Saturday morning beginning at 7:00 a.m.  Placements to be determined and are at the sole discretion of The Kind Fest committee.

HOURS: Food Trucks are responsible for maintaining adequate staffing at all times between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Food Trucks may elect open as early as 8:00 a.m. for artist/participant breakfast and stay as late as 8:00 p.m. for public park attendees.

SANITATION:  Area surrounding Food Trucks, including tables and chairs provided The Kind Fest, must be kept clean at all times by the Food Truck Vendor. Trash containers will be provided.

All food trucks must meet the Washington State Department Retail Food Codes

DAILY SALES: Food Trucks are responsible for maintaining a Daily Report used to REPORTING:  Report gross sales during the event. A report must be submitted to The Kind Fest Food Truck Coordinator at the end of the day.

SOUND SYSTEMS:  No separate sound systems are permitted.

 SIGNS:  Food Truck Vendors will provide their own signage that must be professional in appearance. All Food Trucks must post the name, address and telephone number of the owner, operator, permittee or business. This shall be legible and clearly visible to all guests.

INSURANCE:  The Kind Fest and Snohomish Parks and Recreation assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to the Food Truck, itʼs property, employees or guests.

Each Food Truck Vendor must supply individual Property & Liability Insurance. A Certificate of Insurance must be received by July 10th.  Liability coverage should be $1,000,000.00.

FIRE/FIRST AID:   Each Food Truck must have an approved fire extinguisher and first aid kit in the truck at all times.

CHANGE:   Cash drawers will be set up by the Food Truck. Change will not be available from the The Kind Fest team.

ALCOHOL:  No alcoholic beverages may be sold, served, or consumed while on the premises of Willis Tucker Park.

STAFF:  Smoking is not allowed in the food preparation or service areas. No eating while on duty. Staff must be neat and clean, preferably in recognizable clothing, i.e. matching t-shirts or jackets.

MENU:  Food Truck Vendor will provide The Kind Fest with a full menu and prices for approval by July 10, 2017 (send to info@thekindfest.com)

SALES TAX:   It is the responsibility of the Food Truck Vendor to collect all sales tax and account for it. Each vendor should possess its own State Board of Equalization. Sellerʼs Permit or maintain proper documentation showing proof that appropriate sales tax has been paid on the purchases.

 CANCELLATION:  Cancellations must be made before July 14th for a full refund.

 POLICY: Fees are nonrefundable after July 17th.
